Best awards

  • IBM Jazz Innovation Award 2008. The award-winning research proposal of the ISISLab laboratory of the University of Salerno is based on the work that led to the creation of the CoFFEE software - Cooperative Face2Face Educational Environment - and aims to make available to the work team a rich set of collaboration tools ("Threaded Discussion" and "Graphical Discussion" able to favor a structured and effective collaboration).
  • The Italian prize for training " Aldo Fabris " (VII Edition) for the LEAD project. The "Aldo Fabris" award for training and education is an Italian national recognition, established in 2002 by public organizations involved in training and education, including the city of Rome, the Puglia region and Formez (a government agency of public administration for international dissemination). Each year, the awards are given in four categories: private sector, public sector, universities and schools. LEAD received the first prize for 2008 in the university category.

Innovation awards

  • The results of the ROUTE-TO-PA project have been selected by the Commission to be placed in the Innovation radar www.innoradar.eu. The Innovation Radar is a European Commission initiative to identify high potential innovations and innovators in EU-funded research and innovation projects. The overall goal of Innovation Radar is to allow every citizen, public official, professional and business person to discover the outputs of EU innovation funding and give them a chance to seek out innovators. The innovations recognized are:
    (1) A new open data platform for enhancing transparency of Public Administration and for offering a friendly and accessible environment to public administrators, organizations and citizend to access, reuse and publish open data (based on SPOD and TET).
