Abstract: In this thesis we present the development of a medical diagnostic tool that will use the data available in WikiData to provide preliminary diagnoses of diseases consistent with the symptoms provided by the user. The goal is to create a useful tool for clinicians early in the diagnosis process, enabling rapid and accurate analysis of patient medical data. In addition to the diagnostic tool, the research work will also focus on the analysis of knowledge graphs published on the web and found in scientific literature. This analysis will assess current scientific research advances in knowledge graphs in the medical industry and explore how knowledge graphs are used to integrate and analyze a broad range of data, including clinical data, drug information, and scientific studies, in order to improve the understanding of diseases and identify new therapeutic avenues. Through this research, we aim to provide an up-to-date overview of the latest discoveries in the field of knowledge graphs and their application in the medical sector.
