SUMMARY:Seminario: "Trace Me Now: An open-source framework for indoor localization" of Mauro Borrazzo
DESCRIPTION:Abstract: Location service is one of the primary services in smart automated systems of the Internet of Things. For various location-based services\, accurate localization has become a key issue. Hence\, an increasing number of real-world scenarios require such technologies and techniques\, leading IoT-based indoor localization to become an all-too-real challenge. In fact\, IoT-based localization and indoor localization are still under study\, and the most recent literature proposes a large variety of technologies and techniques in order to achieve that. Nevertheless\, there is no standard proposed yet\, neither regarding technologies nor with regard to techniques for indoor localization. Trace Me Now tries to combine some of the most used technologies and techniques in a framework for letting developers easily exploit them to build their own location-based systems. SUMMARY:Seminario: "Bloomy Decision's Dashboard: riorganizzazione automatica degli ordini" di Martina Casalnuovo
DESCRIPTION:Abstract: L’obiettivo della tesi è quello di realizzare una dashboard di gestione e riordino relativa alla riorganizzazione automatica degli ordini presenti in memoria di una grande azienda. La dashboard\, oltre ad essere l’oggetto della tesi\, rappresenta un reporting contenente dati e informazioni specifici a determinati ordini\, precedentemente salvati in memoria. Per lo sviluppo e per la modalità di visualizzazione della dashboard è stata creata una pagina web. Il progetto è realizzato in modo tale da permette il riuso della dashboard in diversi contesti e in diverse applicazioni che abbiano la necessità di possedere e visualizzare un pannello di controllo e di gestione dei dati presenti in memoria. Il lavoro che ho svolto è stato quello di creare una pagina web da aggiungere all’interno di un progetto già esistente\, denominato “BloomyDecision”\, rendendola però indipendente e disaccoppiandola dalle altre già presenti. La pagina web è suddivisa in più sezioni: barra di navigazione\, una box laterale contenente diverse voci che rappresentano i nomi delle tabelle presenti in memoria\, ed un box centrale a comparsa dove viene effettivamente visualizzata la tabella con tutti i suoi dati. DESCRIPTION:Abstract: "Recent years have witnessed an increasing growth in the usage of GPUs in large-scale compute clusters. GPU clusters can reach a high computational power\, but their performance is limited by data communication: host CPU-to-GPU communication\, as well as inter-node data movement.
